QV Musical Theater Nominated for Gene Kelly Awards


Quaker Valley High School has received nominations for the 23rd annual Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theater! These awards are given for high school musical productions and individual performances and are judged by 32 theater and business professionals who attend the shows, deliberate, and then cast ballots for each award category. The awards are broken between three budget categories as well.

The winners of each category will be announced at the Kelly Awards ceremony at the Benedum Center on May 25th.  The winners of best actor and best actress will move onto the National High School Musical Theater Awards in New York City on July 1st!

This year's nominations for Quaker Valley, as well as the other nominees, are as follows:
