The Day of Giving is Tomorrow!

On Wednesday, 3 October, The Pittsburgh Foundation will once again coordinate the annual Day of Giving--an opportunity to have your donation dollars matched on a prorated basis by the Pittsburgh Foundation and its partner organizations. Thank you in advance for your loyal support of Laughlin through events like Day of Giving and our upcoming annual appeal. I hope that you'll once again take advantage of this chance to leverage your charitable giving by donating on October 3rd. Directions on how to give can be found below--it's a quick, easy, and gratifying experience!

When you go online to make your donation to Laughlin, I hope you'll also take a moment and consider giving to some other worthwhile organizations; you can choose up to 10 participating non-profits to receive a gift and match. While Western PA is blessed with a large number of non-profits that help hundreds of thousands of people and animals, the Sewickley area is especially lucky that we have organizations like the Allegheny Land Trust, Fern Hollow Nature Center, Sewickley Public Library, Sewickley Valley YMCA, Summerbridge (a summer program for at-risk youth that operates out of Sewickley Academy), Union Aid Society, Valley Care, and the Watson Institute. I hope you'll consider a gift to some (or all!) of these fine local organizations which help knit together the fabric of our community.
